The hire-or-agency problem

Most growing businesses hit the same wall.

The business has outgrown its software, but hiring a developer is overkill. So you go to an agency. They build the project, hand it over, and six months later you need a change. Another scope, another quote, another delay. The agency doesn't really know your business any more, so they are back to discovery every time.

The Partnership sits in the middle. You don't manage developers and you don't restart context every six months. You get a partner who knows the business and keeps building.

How it works

How the Partnership runs.

Onboarding

We map your business, your current systems, and your build priorities.

Regular planning

We review and set priorities together for the next phase of work.

Continuous build

We ship. New tools, features, integrations, improvements. You see progress as it happens.

Regular review

What shipped, what is next, what has changed in the business. Priorities adjust accordingly.

One point of contact

You don't manage developers, brief contractors, or coordinate handovers. You talk to us.

What the build looks like

A year of work, in order.

First, replace the broken quoting spreadsheet with a real quoting tool that connects to your CRM. Then build a client portal where clients see job status and download documents instead of emailing your team for updates.

Next, integrate the quoting tool with your accounting software so quotes become invoices on their own. Then add an intake form that pre-fills quotes from email enquiries. Over time you own a portfolio of systems that talk to each other, none of which existed when we started.

Common questions.

What if I don't have enough work in a given month?
Capacity carries forward within the quarter. We won't waste your retainer on busywork.
What if we need more than the tier covers in a quarter?
Anything beyond the tier's capacity is quoted as additional scope, and we always flag it before doing the work. No surprise invoices.
Can we change tiers mid-year?
Yes, with reasonable notice. Most clients move up rather than down.
Who actually does the work?
Our senior developers lead all client relationships, architecture decisions, and delivery. Some builds involve trusted offshore collaborators working under our direct supervision.
What happens when we are ready to move on?
Most clients renew. Some move to fixed-scope project work. Either way you keep everything we have built. It is yours.
What if we want to end the Partnership early?
Partnerships have a minimum term. That is what makes the model work for both sides. We can talk through edge cases, but it is not a rolling monthly arrangement.
